A refreshing, vibrant drink blending earthy ceremonial-grade matcha with sweet strawberry purée perfect for both iced and hot lattes.

  • 56 fresh strawberries or 1 cup frozen strawberries (thawed)
  • 12 tsp maple syrup, honey, or agave (optional)
  • 11.5 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 2 oz hot water (around 175°F)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole, oat, almond, soy, or coconut)
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries. Blend with sweetener until smooth. Optional: strain for a silky purée.
  2. Sift matcha powder into a bowl. Add hot water and whisk using a bamboo whisk or frother until frothy and lump-free.
  3. Pour strawberry purée into a tall glass.
  4. Slowly pour in milk over the back of a spoon to maintain layers.
  5. Top with the prepared matcha, again pouring slowly for separation.
  6. Add ice for iced version or use warm milk for hot latte. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use chilled ingredients and pour slowly for clean layers. Ceremonial grade matcha yields smoother flavor and brighter color.
