  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese ravioli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Optional: 1 cup cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • Optional: 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Optional: 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • Optional: 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Gather and pre-measure all ingredients for efficiency.
  2. Chop sun-dried tomatoes, mince garlic, wash and dry spinach.
  3. Cook ravioli according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and thickened (3–4 minutes).
  8. Stir in spinach until wilted.
  9. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  10. Add cooked ravioli and toss to coat.
  11. If using optional add-ins, stir them in now.
  12. Serve hot, garnished with basil and red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Use sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil for added flavor. Don’t overcook ravioli or burn the garlic. A splash of pasta water helps loosen and bind the sauce if too thick.
