A vibrant, tropical salad that blends creamy avocados with sweet mangoes, zesty lime, and fresh herbs for a refreshing and nourishing dish.

  • 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • 1 large mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • Optional: 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Optional: 1/4 cup toasted pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Dice the avocados and mango into similar-sized pieces.
  2. Thinly slice the red onion and chop the cilantro.
  3. Optional: Seed and finely chop the jalapeño.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine avocado, mango, red onion, and cilantro.
  5. Add lime juice and olive oil, gently toss to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Optional: Fold in jalapeño, feta, and pumpkin seeds.
  8. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with extra cilantro leaves.

Notes

Use ripe but firm avocados to maintain texture. Don’t overmix to prevent mashing. Adjust lime juice to your taste.
