Delicious Apple and Brie Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe

Tender chicken breasts stuffed with sweet apples and creamy Brie cheese, seared to golden perfection and baked until juicy. A balanced, elegant meal that’s as nourishing as it is flavorful.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 medium apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces Brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey
  • Optional: Fresh arugula or spinach leaves
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast carefully without cutting through.
  3. Season the inside of the pockets with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with apple slices and Brie; add nuts if desired.
  5. Secure the openings with toothpicks.
  6. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Sear chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  8. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let rest before removing toothpicks.
  10. Drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze if desired before serving.

Notes

Avoid overstuffing to prevent filling from leaking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temp reaches 165°F. Try combining apple varieties for added depth of flavor.
